Default is there a difference in the parts between the builders and the rtr

is there a difference in the parts between the builders and the rtr?

it looks like the builders version has metal front universal drive shaft, metal lower links and metal rear suspension and brass axle weights.

are those the only difference in the parts?

I know the RTR doesnt have tires, and body, and esc, servo and motor, but the parts that are in both, are the rest the same between the 2. only the 4 parts i listed is different?

and does each of them make a big difference in the performance of the truck?

i already bought the RTR, but is it worth buying the 4 parts also?

I don't know the answers to your questions, BUT I have got the hpi cvds which have made no difference at all other than emptying my wallet, I've also bought metal links which makes a slight difference. Cheap copies off fleabay. As for weights? I've never used them as I don't expect it to crawl like a comp truck
Your best bet is to upgrade your tyres

Welcome to the site!

According to the HPI website here: https://www.hpiracing.com/en/kit/117255

It says:

"The build-it-yourself Venture SBK includes official HPI options such as rebuildable front universal driveshafts, aluminum lower links for confidence over rough terrain, 4-link rear for increased articulation and traction, plus hidden axle weights for increased stability with a lowered center of gravity (CG). As you assemble the kit from the fully detailed assembly instructions, you can modify the truck if you wish, or add extra options and accessories as you go."
