I've got two, my first one is still on it's stock chassis, but now running a XL5/old Integy 55t combo, 1.9 Swamper XL's on HPI VTA Stock Car rims, and a XJ body, then the second one is stretched several inches and is on 3.2" Maxx tires and 17mm RPM Stablemaxx rims with a Traxxas VXL system and a Grave Robber body. I mainly need to glue the tires and rims, then get a 4000mAh 3s pack for the trucks.

I still have mine as well, two original 4x4 models. One was used to build a tube chassis rock buggy, and the second one is an original 4x4 ARTR still brand new in the box, it's been in storage for the past few years with a bunch of parts including an nice ladder chassis that I planned ( and still intend ) to use for a custom build. Every now and then, I look through the HPI WK section, and dream of how to customize this amazing model. |
