Default Axle mount for the steering servo

Does anyone make a bolt on kit to do this. Or does it need to be custom made? Thanks for your help

www.rcguy.com for the mounting bracket
You can also look at STRC for the links, but not sure if those will fit...
Better custom made them : very easy and cheap with 6-32 threaded rod, traxxas rod ends and alum tubing.

Good luck

Cool thanks for the link. Has anyone tried this setup before. Does it work well. The links look real close like they might touch.

Plus, both the drag link and tie rod are mounted over the knuckle in that pic. If there WAS any kind of interference of the links, you could just move the tie rod to the bottom of the knuckle leaving the drag link on top. It would however net some clearance loss to the tie rod.

Just out of curiosity for those running the ckrcc kit .... doesn't the servo hit the shock?

I agree but it also looks like they relocated the shocks from the factory position on the axle end.

Damn you have a good eye. Well they were out of stock so I guess it was a good thing I didn’t get it. I guess it's back to looking for another solution.

he's right they did turn it 90 degrees, but the shock location is also different to! it's not on the shock tower. you need a servo mount that places the servo directly in the middle and on top of the axle.

Heres mine. I made it out of some 1/16" aluminum. I used some traxxas rod ends and 8/32 rod. Only took a little time and it was alot cheaper than ordering one. Its been working really good so far. I just had to take that little bumper/brace out in the very front for clearance.
