People use e-maxx trannies with the dual motor plate. do you plan on using the wk trans.

It may not look like a WK but in order to get the E-maxx gear box to fit I had to design a new chassis With as many of the WK parts as possible | |

If you were going to run an E-maxx trans, I would use a motor plate that allows clocking the motors down for a better COG. With TWO motors up high the COG will be even worse than stock. There's really no way to fitt a MAXX tranny into the stock WK chassis. |

I'm definitely not sure about this, but here's some brainstorming: If you're trying to stay as "wheely king" as possible, I would say try and mount the motors off of the tranny. (may not make sense) Use driveshafts or something similar to link the motors to the tranny. You could possibly run one motor on each side of the tranny. One would have to be wired backwards. Don't know how a wk tranny would hold up, but hey, anything can be done.

I don't know the answer to that, but fabing your own stuff is usually cheaper. Plus you get to fab things to fit the way you want rather than trying to force things to fit. And you get a nice sense of pride when you make something yourself.

I'm was gonna throw a Maxx into my truggy chassis, but there's no point if you just want monster power and not a 2 speed. If you want a 2 MOTOR (not engine) tranny, I'd use a TXT or something similar.

I'd go with derlin first and once you get it "perfect" make it out of aluminum. Just my 2 cents...
