Default How can I get a lower center of gravity?

That's my WK as it sits now - click the thumbnail for larger image.

Short version of what I've done:
- Reversed chassis
- Stretched chassis to 12.5" wheelbase
- Mounted servo on axle (RCGuy mount plate)

The performance at this point is nice, and I'm having a blast with it. I do still find that the cog is higher than I would like, which make climbs tough. I think the two biggest problems left would be the battery location and motor location.

I'm looking for some ways to to get some of the weight down low without changing the chassis out completely. Has anyone found relatively easy ways to achieve this?

it would help a little to rework the bat to fit it on the axel.

Have you weighted the wheels and axles yet? Just grab a few sticks of stick-on weights (for balancing tires) from a tire shop. Put some on the inside of your wheels and on your axles. That'll help a little.

You could also clock the motor, but you'll have to do some surgery on the chassis. I did it and it helps a lot. I also cut the bottom of the chassis off and moved all the link mounts. You'll def need to brace the chassis afterwards. Check my thread for pics.

My wk build so far...
