| Looks like they revised the kit. Mine used allumimum threads that were part of the links. So they bend and arent replacable. Whats the overall WB of that? Mine was 13.75" I since replaced the links with ones I built and cut 3/8" off the upper links, to shorten it to 12.25" I wasnt impressed with the RC4WD Extention kit at all, but yours looks better then my original version did. |

They kept saying they were going to send a new "updated/retooled" kit but after 6 weeks I got my money back. Not to turn this into a RC4wd bash thread but out of 5 things I have ordered from them 3 didn't fit right the first time or were machined poorly. Their straight axle conversion and shafts are quite nice though. | |

| I also have the RC4WD extended WB kit, I bought it when I first planned on getting a Wheely King. After reading more about Wk's on here, I learned the RC4WD kit wasn't the greatest but since I already had it I installed it. I haven't ran my truck yet but I already don't care for the 13.75 WB and the lower links. So when I have to replace the lower links I'm gon shorten the truck. Blackfoot, did you have to redrill and tap the upper link when you shortened it? It looks like a good place to mount my battery so I want to keep it. |
