Default WK Crawls pretty good (PICS)

Here is my WK all finished and finally see'ing some rocks . It works pretty well as far as i can tell (NEWB here, but have a good clod to compare it to). In stock form its LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... the tires i have on there now also have some pretty firm foam in there with no weight in the tires.

Articulation is good and VERY smooth, Turning radius is far better than my TLT and CLOD... the stock electronics are holding up very well so far. Only electronic upgrade is a 645mg servo, stock otherwise... Gearing went up to a 93tooth spur opposed to the stock 90t and a 11 pinion insted of the 21t. Works well so far but i cant wait to put a 45 or 55t motor in.

Its sporting a 6 cell 2/3aa pack from a stock RC18t and runtime is currently a 2 minutes or so under half an hour .

So far im happy with it, im about $100 over stock price with the off the shelf parts to lengthen it and make it 4wd.

Looks good! From the pics, I can hardly tell that's the little rock pile in front of Hobby People. ;)

Is it me or is that thing levitating in a couple of pics?

Good to see another WK crawler on the forums.

Your LHS has a pile of rocks out front? Damn, that's convenient!
Looks good so far. The Bug body looks great, nice paint job.
How bad is the torque twist with that 3-link set up?

Best part is, we both work there. But, we can't bring our own RC's until after inventory next week.

Yep, back when I worked there I hauled about twenty good sized rocks from the river-bed behind the shop to practice on. It soon became the proving grounds for all new rock crawlers and powned plenty of Revo owners who thought they were cool. WAJ!!

Blue thing zip-tied to the outside left TVP (chassis plate). Truck looks good.
