Default looking to buy some inexpensive shocks for WK.

So i been looking to buy some but have no clue on what to get. I dont want to go balls out and get something pricey and i also dont want to get a junk set. So what have you guys found that works better than the stock suspension and wont leak like a defective maxi pad.

found this but not sure

thats $30 bucks right there for a set. if you up your budget another 7-8 bucks you could pick some nice bigbores. There 4-1/32" (102mm) fully extended. Length: 2-3/4" (40mm) fully compressed. Diameter:3/4" (19mm). Or if you want a little lower CG you could get the Traxxas Ultra shocks. there 3.5" there even cheaper than those. Both would be great w/ a sprung or droop set up.. or both at that. good luck

Agreed. The stock shocks leak like a sieve and the springs are too soft and can't counter the torque twist of a 55t motor.

I recently picked up a set of these: http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...roducts_id=766

So far, I like them. I'm running the blue springs in the rear and the silver up front. I'm still fine tuning them which says a lot. They can be fine tuned!! Thread shock bodies ftw!

I'm also running a stiff "clicker pen" type spring on the shock shaft of the rear left shock to help off set torque squat when I'm in a high degree, off angel climb. The extra shock helps some but also takes 10mm of compression off of that rear shock that I'm finding helps keep me from getting bound up. You know like when you give it throttle and the truck doesn't want to climb but instead wants to collapse on itself.

LOL, I'm rambling.

I've been running the new RC4WD Dual-spring scale coil-overs for a while now and I love them. They're a bit pricey at $60 a set of 4, but they work REALLY well, and are just a hair shorter than the stock WK shocks which are too long anyway.

If you read the sticky..... it says you can't post in the for sale ads. PM's aren't hard to figure out. CLick the name, click send a private message, type your message and hit submit. Whooo... I almost broke a sweat.

im running a set on my WK scaler. i run bigbores on my comp rig without the springs. both shocks work extreamly well and i like the dual rate setup on the rc4wd shocks super scale! i bought the bigbores for $50 at my lsh and the rc4wd's are $60 if i remember right. remember, anything is better than stock!!
