with WK axles and tran. I have been thinking about making a 2.2 Torsion (BMV2 or 3) rig with them. I could do a scaler as well but I've heard the axles are a bit wide for scale. 2.2 linker is an option as well but I already have a ax based 2.2 and don't see a need for 2 (torsion excluded) compers. Heck, I could just save them for a first super project, but I don't see that happening for a while, and I can't just let them sit; it'll drive me nuts. What do ya'll think? Any past insights/experiences are appreciated. Post up or vote the poll, either way. Thanks for helping make my second crawler/RC ever decision P.S. I'm already building my first scaler with AX10 gear, so I am kinda leaning towards a torsion deal but want to hear what others have to say as well. Last edited by solomon7; 05-27-2008 at 02:24 PM.

Make something for the wifey! That way you can smooth over parts purchases in the future as long as she has something in the shipment!

I would build the 2.2 scaler and just put some really "in-set" wheels on it to keep in narrow. The more "in-set" the wheels are the less strain you have on your outer axle parts (less breakage possibly). Kinda like putting a Dana 60 on a mildly built Blazer, Rather than Heavily modifying the same axle for use on a rock buggy. Just my $0.02 TOM
