Hi all I am from South Africa and sports tend to take some time to pick up if they do at all. My problem is that spares and upgrades aren't available here as rock crawling is not that big. I Have basically built my WK up using ideas and stuff from all you guys and importing only what i cant make. But still i have a battle getting my WK rock ready. I need to import everything at huge costs so i need to do it right first time. Ok so i have a stock wheelie king 4X4 which i have extended to 13 inches i am busy getting custom chassis plates made to make for better placing of battery and other parts as well as to allow for suspention setups ect. Diffs have been locked with hot glue. I have moved the servo onto the axle. and that is pretty much it. still need to figure out how to mount the body but i will figure that out when i get the new shell 1 Speed and gearing. What parts are suggested for gearing and are the motor reduction units worth while http://rc4wdstore.com/index.php?cPath=61 2 motor and ESC. I wont be doing comps untill we get the sport working here but i want it very capable. So with out spending to much what is the cheapest most capable to use. Grip and tracktion 3. I have imported beadlocks with 2.2 inch rock stompers soft. I have locked the diffs and plan to add weights. What else would i need there 4 Other What other suggestions are there to make it work better. Currently waiting for high torque servo and rockstompers to arrive. But its 3-6 weeks waiting for anything i order.

1 Speed and gearing. Your money is better spent on proper spur and pinion gears ... and they are cheaper. 2 motor and ESC. Cheapest would be the WK ESC that comes with it. When you are ready to step up to something good I highly recommend a Castle Sidewinder with a castle BEC. An integy 55t is a nice entry level motor that will perform well. Grip and tracktion The rockstopmers are not the best tire around. I highly recommend either Losi Claws or Panther Cougars. As far as weight I put more in the fronts but usually have around 4-5 oz per tire 4 Other Biggest help would be a dig setup. Other than that, make sure you have a nice skid to help slide over objects. High clearance links are also a good thing.

Ok so i ordered rockstomper soft 1.9" and 2.2" tyres from http://rc4wdstore.com and waited 6 weeks for them to get to South Africa. after the long and patient wait they arrived yesterday and i found that they added the 1.9" rock stompers but didn't send me the 2.2" ones but rather the Mud slingers 2.2" Firstly discusted by the fact they did that secondly because the mud slingers are the uglies thing i have ever seen. But being in South Africa i dont have much say in this matter. I will be laying a full complaint to the site i bought them from. Ok so my Question is How do the mudslingers rate against the rock stomper softs... Did i get messed around or are these tyres any good. well besides being the uglies wheels i have seen... they do feel softer than the 1.9" rock stomper soft... But do i use them or send them back Any advise please guys...
