I'd leave a bit more material between the holes and chassis outlines. Some of the holes are quite close to each other too.

Having the bottom curved like that is detrimental to what you want the skid plate to do...skid When that drags over something, the rock or edge that you're dragging over will get hung up in the arch.

...Unless of course you use a flat skid across the two bottom most holes in the plates and the side plate design at the bottom won't actually match the skid shape.

If you put the skid flat across the bottom but left the arch, then you could keep the look but still have a functional skid. Something like this, but you'd still need to round over the bottom points near the skid.

I decided to make the hole bottom flat. i like the look still. and i spced the holes out more.

what ever i can get my dirty little hands on!!! i wont be building my own chassis until i get the hpi crawler conversion kit beacause its got everything i want for the suspension/ the wicked susp links.

would this chassis use the stock wk tranny? or another?
you should make some mounts if you tend to use the original tranny.

thanks. i dont know where the bolt holes go, i dont have dimensions for a stock wheely king trans. but i could find out. i had planed on running Harley's mount, but i need to find somebody that can cut it out with a CNC/Waterjet.
