I love the color scheme as well! Nice coloring! My truck is orange with black hood, fenders, and tailgate. I may have to copy your paint scheme for my next body. Nice work!

Thanks Everyone for the compliments!

The leafs are Tamiya 350 leafs, just the main leaf.

Ok, so i tried some tires and need some opinions.
The first is Stampede Rear Rims and Moabs. They Rub a small amount but i can fix that by trimming the steering arm and a spacer between the wheel and hex. These are about how far i would like the wheels to stick out. But it just dosent look right still! Maybe I need to lower it?

Maybe I need to lower it?

These are Stampede Front wheels. They do not rub, however I think they stick a little to far out.

front: Left is Front wheels, Right is Rear Stampede wheels. You can see the difference at the knuckle.

I really like the stock wheely king wheels best so far. I may try lowering the truck and trying the moabs then.
** I never should have cut the front bumper like the 1:1!

The stock WK rims are pretty decent, looks wise. I like 'em too. Moabs are a good choice for an all-around tire, decent forward and side bite. You could try lowering it a bit for looks, but it might hurt your clearance somewhat depending on where and how you run it. I haven't found any good looking rims with a similar offset to the 'pede rears, most are flashy race type styles like Imex. Someone needs to design a rim with adjustable offset, maybe with different inserts at the hex to adjust the track width. I think it would be HUGE!

T.D.

Venom: Your right, the white does take a lot out of the looks. If i go with the stampede wheels i will dye them orange or black or order them in chrome. I do plan on painting the chassis, but i was leaning toward Orange? Black might make it look cleaner however!?

Thanks for the info T.D.! I have been looking at Pro-line beadlocks as I heard I can lose 1/2" overal with the pro-line rims.

With the Stampede Rears and fronts for that matter, you can cut off the inner bead ring and with a little sanding, slide the ring back onto the rim, CA it and it will narrower the rim enough to clear the knuckles. I did that with a set of 'pede wheels and some Moabs on one of my Clods years ago, it's actually pretty easy. A hack saw blade and a Dremel with a sanding drum are what I used. There used to be a couple tutorials on here that showed how to narrow the stampede rims. Just another option to look into. Some fake beadlock rings and some paint would fix the looks.

The Proline beadlocks won't tuck in as far as the Stampede rears do. They're kinda in between the two.

If the Prolines are between the two, that is perfect!!! I have to space the rears and the fronts are too far out! You told me exactly what i wanted to hear!! Thank you!
