Certainly lots of unique ideas/fabbing here. I like how you've managed to get the motor so low but I have one question. In the first picture it looks like the edge of the motor can is a prime candidate for catcing rocks. If your links and skid plates take a beating (like they all do) then your motor can is going to take an even bigger one.

Do the rear lower shock mounts ever get caught on obstacles?

how much abuse does your motor take against the rocks? it looks like it could use a sheild or slide plate imo, nice setup none the less

Now THAT is one smolderingly cool transmission mod. i *REALLY* like that. It's like the ultimate solution to WK CoG problems.

So, you are making your links hang lower, to protect your motor that is too low, to decrease your ground clearance? Sounds interesting.

Default weight

Plus my motor weight is so low right now, when i put it next to a ax10 and look at the motor height levels, im so much lower !!!! and it crawls just that little much better when climbing. side hilling is also crazy compared to when my motor used to hang over on the side of my tranny !!!

Default Similar but different

Nice Job!

How did you mount the motor? I can only see one mounting point off of the bottom cross-member. I also flipped the motor / trans. relationship in my newly designed but unbuilt WK and I am a little concerned about the motor twisting independently from the tranny and stripping pinion or spur gears.

That is some damn good ingenuity there. I like the ideas. Can you adjust the upper link mounts a little lower on the chassis? It might help ya a lil bit more with articulation, and squat & anti-squat. I cant wait to see what else you come up with.

Dont worry its strong enough !! i tested it by forcing my motor to the max and the motor doesnt move at all !!

Atleast you're running brushless, so you dont have to worry about that motor coming down haard on a rock and breaking a magnet loose!
