G'day, i have oonly had my WK for under a month. I picked up a Speed Passion brushless crawler motor and ESC with programming card. Ok so i can work all the braking, punch and low batt cutoff stuff out but i have a problem. When i go to climb something the motor stops spinning when under load. I can usually have another crack at it but its at speed rather than just crawling up. does this have anything to do with the spur and pinion gears? They are still std!!

I use the Traxxas VXL-3s and a 3500kv motor and I have experienced the exact same problem The ESC stalls when I wan´t to slowly roll backwards and throttle up again I have to blip the throttle a few times and then it is already too late I have not tried a sensor motor yet but I suspect that it wouldn't occur with the sensor motor _________________ c",) Wild Wheely King Bandit VXL E-Maxx

While I dont have any personal experience with brushless set-ups I have seen this problem alot with trucks trying to run too high of a gear ratio. You might want to try lowering that before shelling out for a different motor.
