The kit has good parts in it. I just got tired of waiting and just made parts myself but if they kit had been out sooner I would have oredered one. The only thing is that once I started to make my own links and such I realized that I would not have used a lot of the parts that come in the kit. -Eddie

it too was back ordered 2 months ago. I went to neweramodels.com and bought their crawler kit and thought it was cool (If you got the money) i started crawling over things and found out that the wheely king is back heavy. so i "flip the chassis" and bought a front axle server holder thingy a magiggy. and it made a difference and doesn't tip over as much. I'm too lazy to make my own stuff. but if this helps you any ways ...cool.

i too built my own but if you pick up the latest copy of rc car action its an rc crawler special. anyway they got a whole artical on the wk with hpi's crawler kit. and i quote "the kit gives whole new life to my wk. I couldnt be happier." "simply laid out and very easy." they also install alot of aftermarket goodies like a brushless setup from novak and proline tires, beadlock wheels, flipping the chassis, high torque servo, and aluminum c hubs and knuckles. so yes the kit from hpi is a great step in the right direction, but there is still much to do after that. hope this helps!
