Default crawler conversion kit question

just go the kit in my wk and i noticed it steers good one way and it barely turns the other way and my adjustment knob on the control is maxed, so do i have to center the servo or what ????, and im guessing a better servo would be best also.

remove the steering servo arm from the servo. turn on the radio and esc and set your steering trim to center. line up the servo arm so that the front wheels are straight and re-attach. fine tune the alignment with the trim knob.

You might find that its the stupidly long new ball joint flexing. I was at a comp last weekend and used my crawler king for the first time in anger. Whilst on one section, I noticed that I was trying to steer and it wouldnt have it then I saw the long ball joint flexing. Admittedly its running a Hitec 645mg but that ball joint sucks.

So when I got home, I made a new link with some M3 rod and sleeved it. At the comp on the Sunday it didnt let me down and steered so much better.
