Default My WK W/Widow-ish Chassis

I debated for a long time before I decided to put this thread up. I am not fishing for compliments, but this is what it is because of the ideas and help from the guys on this forum. With that said, allow me to introduce my trail rig Wheely King "Hack Job" (I have always been more about function than form). It is has a Widow chassis (thanks Offroader5) with ears, a Great Planes S-600 motor, aluminum tranny gears, steel epoxy lockers, stealth rear lockouts made of 1/4"UHMW, Tower Pro steering servo, Tmaxx driveshafts, AI Super Runner ESC, and heavily modded Mud Slinger tires. All of the black plastic is 1/4" UHMW. I switched to 32p gears, 64-13.

Thats all I can think of at the moment. If you have any questions, fire away.

I am still new to crawling / trail running, but this pic impresses me for no more than I have in it.

Max Flex. Just about right I think.

The 32 pitch gears.

I have had a lot of fun with this truck. Most if not all of the ideas were taken from guys on here so they deserve the credit for the good stuff, I'll take the blame for the rest.

Thanks for looking!

Looks good. You're the first that I have seen put extensions on for the shocks. Really the only way to use the stock shocks with the chassis...otherwise they are way too long.

Thanks for the kind words. I tried it without the extensions for a while, but the shocks were laid down so far that I had real torque twist problems. Plus it had almost 90 degrees of flex. I actually think it crawls better like this. Probably not as good as a droop setup, but better than the stock shocks laid down.
