Cool, i'll need to try having a look on there and sort myself out with some. I was just havinh another look through the pics of your rig, Where did you get the lockouts for your rear axle? You know so it doesn't have the ability to steer anymore? I hope i ain't bugging you with all my questions, it's just i'm seriously considering building my rig the same way as yours as i'm so impressed by it!!!

Thanks in advance
Paul.

No problem, I like answering your questions. The rear lock outs are from RC4WD, they are awesome. I'm also running the RC4WD Stainless rear axles, they are very good as well.

More progress, a shame it has taken so long, but crap happens when you work 7 days a week, lol.

Had to swap my front ring and pinion.

My new foam set up I'll be trying this weekend at our 2 day camp 'n' comp.

Sorry for the bad lighting, but here is a pic of the truck assembled.

Thanks man!

Got to run it for the first time this weekend at the Disney Camp and Comp. It ran really good, and side hills like no other!

Here's a rundown of the weekend

Day 1, Finished the day with a 88, would have done alot better, but I had two repairs, the first one, I broke the servo mount after a 4 foot drop, and the second repair, I ripped all 4 of the lower link mount screws out of the lower link mounts on the chassis, decided to cut a long piece of all thread and put two lock nuts on either end. Worked great and is still working great, I'll be running it, till I order some Stainless hex button head 3mm screws, that are long enough to go all the way though. Overall I finished 9th for the day out of 15 trucks.

Day 2, Finished the day with a 79, The only problems I had was I popped the yoke off my front drive shaft and instead of just taking a repair, I tried to continue to climb, and took out 3 gates on my way down, and then took a repair. finish 6th, out of 15.

Normally I take upwards of 200 pictures at comps, but my cam died this weekend, so I don't have any.

I still have a few things to work out on the steering, but so far I haven't had any major hang ups, the only thing I'm trying to figure out, is how to get more steering out of it.

Hey, forgot to ask before, is the front ring and pinion a higher ratio?

Same as the stock. Considering putting a 36/14 axial ring and pinion in the front though, so the front will pull.

I bet you will like it if you do. A friend in our club runs the overdrive front gears and they definately help on the climbs. I also run a one tooth higher pinion in the front axle on my berg and love it.
