would i be able to use a scorpion chassis and use the rest of my WK to make a better crawler?

Look at my thread, WK Axial Hybrid, just below yours. I am using all WK gear with a custom Axial type chassis and an aftermarket skid designed for the Scorpion.

The axial chassis is okay, for better performance use a comp. specific chassis from one of the vendors
