Just scored this off of ebay. New Era Wheely King chasis w/ TLT axles, New Era links, Axial shocks, and JunFac Steering. The Axle's have RC4WD locker's, hardend shaft's, aluminum knuckles and servo mounts. Another With Axial beadlocks, and Proline Flatirons. Last edited by On_The_Rocks; 10-30-2008 at 10:21 PM.

That looks like the start of a great rig. I've seen that tube chassis before, and I like the shape of it, more truck-like than most. What direction are you going to take it? Crawler, rock racer, basher? T.D.

As it sits right now the wheelbase is about 13.5 inches, I think i'm going to through some wk axles, and a rear servo on it and make it a basher. I'll save the TLT axles for a scale project. I also cut some panels out of aluminum for the roof side's and rear panels. I'll leave the windows open. Trying to give it that suv buggy look.

I hate you! haha, I've been searching for a used one of these for a long time now. They used to be like 80 bucks from New Era, but they upped the price to 130ish I think. Good luck with it, I was gonna get one and run in flipped like most do with a stock chassis...

I've been toying with that same idea. Maybe this winter when I'm home more I'll fire up the torch and build me a King Tuber. Looks great, bud! T.D.

Thanks, as soon as I can find a trans for it it will be done. I cut some panels for it, just need to paint them.
