Wheely King axles + MFM chassis = FUN

Here are some pics of the progress of my WK based build. The plan is for a mostly scale trail runner.

I have new shocks on order so I won't be using the stock WK ones and the plan is to use a New Bright F150 body which means the wheel base will most likely have to be extended.

That is looking good.

btw I did the same thing with my MFM. Looks just like yours, Right down to how you mounted the transmission. Only my motor mount Isn't clocked like yours.

Steering

I was just looking at that steering and I dont think that would work. With articulation your steering will turn. its needs mounted at the center axis of your articulatoin. I am not sure if this makes sense. It just didnt work out in my head so let me know if it does, you can teach me a lesson

i think the way its set up with the longer draglink it will have less bump stear than if it were shorter, looks like it will work fine

There is some bump steer but it I can live with it. I just wanted an alternative to mounting the servo in the axle.

Here are some new pics with the new shocks installed (Yeah Racing 80mm) and the body mocked up. I am hoping to have everything mounted/wired and running by the end of the weekend.

The body mounts are rear body mounts from a Team Associated TC4.
