Default Another Winter Day in Kansas

I found another decent place to wheel just down the street from my house. It has rocks of all sizes, a little water and some dirt.

Great looking truck and a really nice spot to play . You're lucky, everything here is buried in snow. It'll be months before I see any rocks. That rig has come along way since I first saw it, very nice!

Thanks guys!!

TrailDawg - I can thank Mitch and in some part you (because you helped Mitch get hooked) for getting me addicted to this crawling/trail riding thing. I honestly didn't think I would have so much fun going slow but it is a blast looking at a group of rocks and thinking "Hmmm, can I get over those?". I just need it to warm up a bit.

I will take some body off shots tonight. The specs are:

WK drive train
MFM chassis
Yeah Racing 80mm shocks
Stock WK motor
Cheap Duratrax ESC
Cheap and weak Futaba servo
2.2 Flat Irons on cheap axial beadlocks

The layout is a bit nasty looking as I am still in the mock up/shake down stages of the build.

Welcome to the addiction . The MFM chassis is very versatile, no doubt you found that out (so many holes/options for mounting). I used the Axial battery plate laid cross-wise on the rails for my packs, works great. It got the CG a little lower. As for Mitch, haven't seen him in a while. I know he runs his crawler at Casper's, but I haven't made it there yet. I'm looking forward to some trail runs with him and Jason from HTO. Keep doing what you're doing, and have fun!

Still one of the nicest WK's I've seen in awhile. If you ever make it up this way, we need to hit some trails. Hopefully I can get some people together this summer for some informal fun-runs, I think it'd be a blast!

My wife and I, with the new baby, may be up there in late June/early July. Mitch is working on getting a trail rig together. I'll be sure to bring the WK with if we make it up that way.
