i am a newbie to the wheelie king, i bought it off the craigslist for a decent price. it works great except for clicking in the rear diff. when i jam on the throttle to go forward, it clicks really bad, enless i ease on it tell i reach full speed. but i wanna crawl with it. dose any one have any ideas on what might help me with this problem. i can go full throttle in reverse and it dose not click at all. so with that said im completly stumped

gears are stripped. Take the axle apart and get new gears If your gonna crawl put a locker/spool in there when you got it open.

Wk's are known for the axle pinions clicking, that is the teeth skipping. you probably need new ones the way it sounds now. When you put the new ones in make sure you shim them.Read more about it in this post. http://rccrawler.com/forum/showthrea...inion+clicking Not bashing you but the search works good on here, there is tons of info on this site. Thought it might help speed up some answers for you also.

I got HPI RS4 replacement diff gears for mine, and you can get hardened steel ones that are realtough.

you sure it isn't the gears clicking in the trans? i had the same problem and after taking my rear diff apart twice to no avail, I realized it was the slipper in the trans skipping - put a shock preload in place of the spring and no more problems.
