Default transmission

What’s a good transmission? What do you think of the R2 Crawler?

I have a highly modified Wheely King. In fact the only thing left that has anything to do with the name sake are the axels and the transmission.

The wheel king tranny actually isn't all that bad. It will work and lower the COG if you lay it on it's side and clock the motor. Personally I would have kept it but I came up on an R2DII trans and I upgraded to a Tag~S chassis. It works great!!!!!! The only thing is the output on the R2 is 5mm and the wheel king axles are 6mm. You would have to get an adaptor or upgrade to axial axles as I did.
But to answer your question the r2 is nice. Just a little noisy.

Hey thanks for the feed back. Do you have a picture of that Tag~S chassis, or know where I can go look at one I've never heard of it.

If you go to my profile you can see my previous posts. Or search and put in tag chassis. There are 2 versions the motor on axle version and the shafty version.
