Default scruedloose's wheelie

i've been lurking here off and on now for about a year. since i started into cralwling i havent touched my other rc's spending all my time either building or repairing one of my crawlers. the majority of what i've learned over the last year has been from stuff i've read here and from the guys in my local club. managed to run four comps and even got a prize for the most broken parts(seriously).
anyhoo, enough of that.

My wk set-up:
ax10 chassis plates, red links, hardware kit and beadlocks
wk axles w/ rear axle locked out
custom axle brackets for mounting links
delrin skid drilled for r2
r2 with disconnect(needs tweaking)
modified traxxas big bore shocks set w/ internal springs in the front and
and wk springs in the back
35t integy because i'm to lazy too put in the 55t
bta steering
stampede drive shafts
proline badlands

the body is the proline dscender painted in a comp orange mixed with gold flakes

Nice looking rig. I like the body. Is that bondo on the axles for sliding over rocks?

yup. but its tamiya epoxy putty. i found it seemed to reduce some hang ups on the axles.

the steering working pretty good except for having to tape the drag link to the steering link, it was a little floppy. has plenty of clearance between the servo and tire at full lock and lots of clearance between the servo horn and the susp. linkage.
I need add some clearance on the axle bracket to clear the steering arm. it'll get maybe 1-2 degrees more steering but every little bit helps.

Looks good! I really like that epoxy idea. Have you considered maybe smoothing it out a little and putting some black paint on it? Not that it looks bad as is, but those axles look real good all smoothed out like that, and some paint would be a perfect finishing touch.

It'll look perfect once your done. I'm even thinking about doing the same to mine. The axles just look so much better smoothed out, and if it improves performance, that's a bonus.
