true but you're not gonna get "too much torque" from a 12 turn motor.

I think both of you need to rethink what a 12 turn 550 size motor will do.. I am having trouble keeping drive shafts in the truck.. it has plenty of torque and wheelspeed..

Looks like a cool little mud-beater.

But for a true "mud truck" look, I'd take the stock WK tires, narrow 'em a LOT (think Tractor tires) and then narrow a set of rims to match....

Then with the huge tube-frame under the jeep and those tires it would be the perfect scale Florida/Georgia/Louisiana mud truck.

Just google "Florida mud racing" and you'll see what I mean... those boys down south build some CRAZy stuff....

yeah I have thought about it.. we have mud trucks up here to so I know what they look like.. not really a purpose built mudder at this point still more of a jump bash mud beat truck.. it may end up with some big narrow tires on it some day..

pretty sure I would use IMEX dually tires and clod wheels if it goes full blown mud only truck..

That would be cool, too!

The WK is so much fun as an all-around beater...

I think the stock WK chassis is ideal for bashing and beating on. Ive built 3 WK, the 1st two were crawlers with different setup ultimately sold them and bought a stock WK added a hpi crawler kit 5700 mamba max masher 2k's on proline epic beadlocks and have been very happy with it. P.S. what wheel is on the ramcharger 1.9,2.2? Build looks cool

well getting up early didnt happen

whipped up some bumpers today. schedule 80 6" black pipe should work..

need to trim some off the one side of the rear freaking shifted on me.

shackles are made and axle are mocked up.

WK tires on for mockup. looks like I will clear clod tires to so that will come in handy once the snow flies.

Narrowe the tires and wheels of stock WK, so it wouldn't be a monster truck anymore!

thanks guys maybe you missed the words in between the pics but the WK tires are for mockup.. if you notice in the action pics above it is running on narrow 6.5" tall tractor tires.. Those tires will carry over to this.
