Most of us mount our servos on the axle using a mount like this.

I made my own based on some templates found on this site. I also use the TCS crawlers steering linkage kit.
With STRc aluminum knuckles and C's along with a jr 8711 my steering is great.

If you are using the stock radio you can check your steering rate and make sure its not turned down. Be careful since it doesnt have end point adjusments that you dont overdrive your servo!! Otherwise it will burn them out quickly. Even more likely with a aftermarket servo.

Here is a shot of my old WK setup with a tower pro servo.

if your still runing the stock axel c's turn the wheels all the way left and right and where they tutch the steering arm trim it down some. this will give you a little tighter turns.

Changing that steering linkage out should help it more. That plastic flexes like mad under stress to keep from breaking.
Looks good!

Well alot of people that have been trying them sorta are on the fence about them. some people love em because it works with thier set up and others hate em because it binds and gets in the way. the best way seems to run it above the center of the axle.

Do CVDs allow for more steering angle? The stock dogbones and cups start to bind when you increase the throw by notching the C's.

They do allow a little more, But you could run into durability problems depending which motor you use.
With something like a intergy or novak 45 to 55 turn motor with no dig it would be ok.
With a holmes handwound on 3c lipo,,, Disaster is inevitable!!
