| Thank you Hah, not really. I'm not going to attend the up coming comp, so I think I should not rush what doesn't need to be done now. |

Okay guys, not much of an update. 2:30 A.M, I cant use my tools, I don't want to awake the family. But, here are some more pics. Pics with sprung, and Droop. I'm usually the one to tell you to never go droop, but I think its worth the shot. If not, I can get some REVO shocks, or something similar. Here is where I cut the support off. There will be no nuts when complete, I will put a Delrin spacer in there to use as a nut/support. I will explain more later. Way too tall! Very Nice! This pic, made me come with the name, "Black Widow". I was wanting red or blue panels anyway, so I think with red panels, Black Widow would match? Here is to show the angle of the REAR shocks. Fronts More to come, tomorrow. |

Well guys, The mail man gave me a visit, and arrived with my ESC and motor, along with my BEC Here are some pics in its rolling condition. All that's left (hopefully) of fabrication is the steering servo mount and the Dig servo mount. Along with the cage still needs more attention on the joints. They need to be cleaned up a bit. and some more brazing rod added in a few areas. Sorry about the last few pics, I was messing with the camera settings and didn't realize how dark they were until they were uploaded. I chose to get the Hobby-Wing ESC/MOTOR/PROGRAMMER combo kit. It's a really cheap setup and so far I really like the attention it has for the price. The ESC is very small and compact, the motor is very nice with beautiful machining, and the ESC has a cooling fan and is water resistant! I have seen a few negative reviews on the ESC, and also a lot of positive. But for $70, i figured it would be worth the shot. The motor is a tight fit, but looks like it will clear with minor trimming on the bolts. This is the first actual Rolling pic. The others were just mock-up. I'm happy with the results thus far For those of you wondering about clearnace issues, these pics were taken at the amount of flex that i will set it up to be. Seems like everything is clear Thanks for all the kind comments |
