Default 32p gears?

Anyone convert their spur and pinions to 32p? Im thinking after locking my slipper due to excessive clicking...I want to convert my spur and pinion to 32p to avoid stripping them out. Ive seen it done on Stampedes for added strength. I know once those are done, something else will be the weak link (most likely the axle diffs) I am also thinking of trying to incorporate a Traxxas style slipper clutch on the spur... Any ideas?

I converted mine to 32p. Just a few extra pinions to keep in the pit box...no biggie.

Yes-- I had a 66T 32P Traxxas spur gear (the equivalent of a 99T 48P spur) in the parts bin-- it just fits between the frame sides. With a 8T 32P pinion, the rig crawls ALOT better!
