Default Breaking the dogbones on my WK

As the name of the topic says, I have a problem with breaking dogbones. I mean i really break them. So far i've broken 3 HPI original and 2 RC4WD stainless steel ones. Has anyone got a solution or should I think af some kind of a slipper? This has become a major issue for me. It's not fun to have 3wd instead of 4wd when you're on the last track at the comp. Any ideas are welcome.

I have yet to break the rcp crawlers/MIP cvds for the wk.
My motor has stripped 3 of the ring and pinions (In axle case) gears before anything else.
I am running a holmes hobbies 500 puller motor and i have dig also.
I can lock the dig and if i am on carpet it will just destroy the diff gear!!
I never broke the rc4wd ones either but i havent run them on this motor!

Well, i'm willing to try out any solutions even if it means buying new cvds. Though i have no idea where to get those RCP cvds. A link would be great. Thanks in advance.

Thank you all. I think I also should get those C's and knuckles. I hope my 55t novak won't destroy these dogbones/cvds.

The rcp knuckels and clockable c's are great also. I have them and run a 480+ oz servo on them!!

The cvd's should hold up to a novak 55 just fine. They are pretty beefy.

rottenbelly, may I ask some more of your rigs pics. Right now I run a 5mm aluminium Widow chassis with tranny sideways and battery on the tranny.

E:Now i had the chance to check what was damaged. As it turns out, the dobone itself in only a bit bent, but the pin on the dogbone is 100% gone.I have to put a new one in. Though I don't remember how to put the pin in so that the pin will stay in. There was something with the fridge and cooled down parts.
