Default Just picked up a WK.

Just the basic WK. I removed the "Sway bar" from the lower links, threw in the lockers the guy included on the trade and gave her a test run. Charged the battery from 11pm-10am..

The power didn't seem to be there, didn't really wheelie and appears to be slower than what I've watched on youtube. Which is fine, it's fast enough I plan on using it it on the rocks anyway. More of a DD status but can still take her out and have fun kind of way.

My main thing that seems to get me is the lack of run time I'm getting. I'm not sure if 20min is flying by as fast as it seems as my battery is dying, but I'm thinking I'm wanting a little more run time, even if it is 20 minutes. The RC thing is new to me, but I assume the faster I go the more power I use, and since I'm wanting the track of all trades I'm wanting good torque, power and livability. As of right now, I'll im sure is that I'm running a patriot 2000 battery that looks like it's been around awhile.

Think just changing the battery will help me out with the power loss?
Haven't ad a chance to check out any of the other stuff to see about upgrades and never thought to look at the current gearing, but I can assume they aren't stock as I have 2 other "ring and pinion" sets in the extras bag.

Nice website, interesting reads.

Get yourself a good battery with a high mah and it will improve your runtime. You will also need to get yourself a good charger that way you don't have to charge it over night. You can get a good 6 cell nimh 5000mah for about 40 dollars.

Check out ProMatch for their 6 cell 4000+mah packs. Really good prices.
