Default Don's Blast from the Past...a tribute to my first crawler chassis

Well, I was putting together my project portfolio and realized that after a few years in the hobby, I had managed to sell off the first ever crawler I had built that used my own chassis/wheels (customer begged me for it as I didn't have any more kits to sell). That being the case, I threw together it's replacement...this one will live on the shelf (when I'm not out crawling with it ). It will be receiving a smaller brushless outrunner (BM9 if I can track one down), as that was the intended power plant, at the time of it's inception.

This chassis had a 4 page feature in the September '08 R/C Car Magazine.

On to the pics...will get some outside pics when the weather gets a lil nicer.

Don

Haha....BM9 is old? I've got a crawler sitting here with that as the powerplant.

Looking good Don!

Dang, that is a cool looking chassis. There is a lot of machine time in those side plates I'm sure.

Bring it to Crawlapalooza with ya and we'll get it shot up real nice.

Default Nice looking

Great looking Chassis! The whole rig looks amazing. Those wheels are clean looking I'm alittle bit jealous. Get you shine on Player!
