I bought a WK as my first crawler almost two years ago. I left it stock for a good time until the HPI crawler conversion came out. Here is stage 1 (project naame started as black betty, name now changed.) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bashed the living crap out of it, then found the local crawling club called TXRCO. I got the truck a liltle more comp ready by christmas, and did a comp. Was my very first comp, and it did very well. Vid right before the comp, before panthers: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Got a deal from a member Ripper7777777 for a old not used WK-7 comp chassie. Stage 3. Ran 2 comps with it then I bought an axial for a comp truck and this as a scaler. Did okay both times out I had it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Next life in post two.

| Quote: How you liking the chassis? I wanted to get one to build a WK basher. Do the links need to be outside the chassis like that? Looks a little strange that way. | |

In the mock up pic they where just sitting there. The last post trying to show the link positions, I had broke the rear male shaft. Those are the only two pics disconnected. At the end of this vid there is Hummvee in a Tug of War, check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS_L5FwTqzs

UPDATE! Well the hummer is being retired. Moment of silence... Welcome to the V3 "Black Daddy". Proline F-650 MGT size body. Only things to change are Body, rear links, drive shafts, tranny out puts, and since Jeremy is running Assasins and cougers on his Pro mod buggy, I am too! I plan to get some pro line bumpers and she's done. Lance I got a pic of the axle/ chassis to show you what I mean... I may need an extension. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks man the body is from proline. It's the F-650 that fits the MGT, LST, etc. That chassis that I was running was ripper7777777's one of proto WK chassis tht he built 2 years ago. Now adays the real only drop in chassis is the DNA pro sportsman.
