its the same exact thing as a wheely king with the crawler conversion. I have one(wheely king with crawler conversion & over axle servo mod). Its great for some fun but don't expect to slay dragons with it. Its incredibly high center of gravity will leave you behind of the serious competitors. But its high center clearance and great articulation has gotten me out some serious binds that left the axials stuck.

i have a CK and what can i say than IT'S GREAT!!!!i have made some mods on him so now it crawl pretty nice.out of the box it's not so eficient on rocks because the steering sucks.so i mounted the servo on the axle, front and back, and now steers both axle.i have replaced the suspensions, cut some part of the body,it looks and crawl very good

I have a lot of extra stuff laying around, so I bought the assembled WK w/o electronics. Got the crawler kit, gear reduction box, Integy aluminum chassis (purple, but stupid cheap - $20), and some T-Maxx links. Made an axle servo mount, and a 4-way link setup. Tossed in a Traxxas XL-5 esc, a Traxxas micro 4ch receiver, a TP HT MG996r servo, left the HPI Saturn 27t motor, and a Traxxas TQ-3 radio. Threw front Traxxas revolver style rims on all fours with Masher m3 2000's mounted in reverse. Its got an 11.5" stance and a 13.5" wheelbase. Still working on adding more weight down low, but its a ton of fun, runs forever (ran it today for a bit over an hour on one 6-cell 4500mah pack), and I am pleased with it. I wont be doing comps, it was a fun build, and may be better for those that like the road less taken.

they look like nice trucks but i wish they moved the servo to the axle. the factory linkage has too much play and even with a high torque servo the steering will suck. but other than that i have no gripe with them. sucks they just now come out with them after all the money i put into the wife's wheely king.

I have a CK and have started the mods on it. SO far I have trimmed the foams, added weight to all rims, replaced steering servo in stock location and replaced the shocks. I went with Integy shocks due to original shocks leaking fluid like a bucket with holes in it. I can tell you the first thing I did was to lower the battery box and that helped a ton. I have tried to post pics of this but I have not figured it out yet. I plan on getting new tires and a new esc in the future, but so far it has been tons of fun.

I as well just got one of these. I was looking for something that was pretty scale but still had a little more ability. So far I can hang with my bro inlaw and his ax10 axial. I know I want to sort out the steering but don't want to go with the servo on the axle. So I have to figure out which company I want to go with for the steering arms. East End or STRC. I also want to get a set of mud slinger tires but that is just because I like how they look. I think the next thing I need after steering stuff is a ESC. The brake on this thing sucks.

I just ordred some of the strc steering links and some new tires and rims. r/c car action did a decent write up on the ck and gave me some ideas for new items, one was the steering linkage. I have put the batt box into the original location. I have relocated my shock mounts (made mounting plates) and with the batt box lower it would not articulate correctly. With the shock mounts relocated it does flex and articulate very nice. I will post a pick on here if I can.

www.amainhobbies.com I ordred my ck from them also. They have pretty good prices. You can find the parts under the HPI Wheely King, all the stering parts are the same due to HPI using the same axles and everything else.
