Default Needs some Wheelie King conversion info

http://cgi.ebay.com/Hpi-Wheely-King-...item230ad5380b

Do anybody know something about this kit - does it stretch the king and if so - how far, durability etc. There is not much info on the net. Oh and I only use the King with a 4300KV motor for bashing and not crawling.
Thanks

Looks like a shinny version of the HPI crawler coversion kit for a Wheely King. I guess the Crawler King uses the same parts, so this would only replce what is already there with bling. One thing I noticed this kit is missing, is the diff locks. One thing in this kit that is not in the HPI kit, is the on the axle steering servo mount.

If you are putting this on a Wheely King it will stretch the WB to approx. 12-1/2 inch. If on a Crawler King, WB will remain the same.

hope to not ruin your fun but that conversion kit is exactly like the normal conversion for the wheely king but the only different is, you spant about $80 more and its all metal...
the original is just as durable, never had a problem with it

Im in South Africa, paid around $20 more, but yes I know its the same, just ally and a servo mount extra, but I cant seem to find a manual or instructions on the net. The HPI version comes with instruction, but nowhere to found to download

umm.... Idk cuz I've just been looking through HPI web site and they don't even have a manual for the conversion, they only haveit for the crawler king (which is already put together) and the wheely king (which doesn't have anything)
I'don't know maybe contact HPI and maybe they can show you?

Okay I have sorted out everything except the servo mount on the front axle.
The linkage that came with the kit mounts onto the servo horn and then where else?

The 3-link mounts to the normal place when you convert to a CK. All the conversion does is give you longer lower and top links and the chassis gets flipped end for end. The servo mount gets screwed to the front of the axle housing. That kit is totally awesome looking, but you will need to lock the diffs if you want it to crawl correctly. Axial diff lockers fit the WK/CK axle housings. If you just want a basher I would forgo the front locker, it limits your turning radius because the tires are always trying to get traction. Hope this helps.
