Default crawler king, into comp crawler?

I just baught a crawler king about a week ago and I like it alot besides the steering.I would like this thred to be about turning a stock crawler king in to a kick but comp crawler,beens I am kinda new to the crawler wourld i would like alot of imput on how to go about this.from everything from tiers to bodie mounts,thanks.and i will post pics on the build.

traxxas water proof servo and xl5 speed.reversed tires,painted alittle on it.

search the wheely king thread for some ideas. Lots of chassis, trannys, etc to choose from!! you can make anything from a axial work!

thanks,I was looking at the r-49 chassis,it looks like it would make a good comp crawler.what is a good crawler esc?with drag break ?

That realy cool,I am going to donate,$800 to a comp crawler,I bought the wk couse it said comp on it,noob mistake i know,I know this is asking alot but could you give my a parts list for a good $800 comp rig i know it isn't much for a comp rig but it's all i can spaire right now.
