you could grind them shorter but then thats gonna bring the pivot point back from under the pivot of the c's and the hub wich more then likely will cause some binding mabey??

I ordered part #WK10215 outer axle and they sent me 2 outer axles for a 1/8 buggy with internal threads. No little peices so I dont know what the hell they are talking about. I sent a very sweet response

As for the CVDs they have no plans on making anymore. I told them that from a money making business stand point that would be a dumb move. I told them about the steel tranny builds here and that people will need CVDs and that the WK isnt dead yet by far.

I'm pretty sure RCP is the only place to get MIP CVDs but if I'm wrong PLEASE tell me.

I think we could persuade RCP with a few E-mails.

ya i think this will be the ticket! just need to put a small sleeve inbetween the cup and end of the axle housingto make sure the bearing dont roll out of the axle, other then that a lil grinding on the end and thats that!

i got a set of mgt's to work. took a little too much grinding to make them fit proper. like rickey said the pivot points don't match up too well. gonna pick up a set of blitzes and give them a try. thanks for the hint.

Did anyone ever get the blitz cvd's to work. Trying to build up a set of axles in anticipation for BWD's rerelease pro kit and the cvd's are the only missing link.

i did. i am going to grab some from jph while i can, but i used mgt "cva"s.
rather difficult to make them fit. have to do much grinding and testing. still not too happy with the fit, cv pivot pin not exacly in line with knuckle screw. but they are a larger diameter and the stub/cups are beefier.
here's a pic of stock mgt shaft, my shaft, then a stock dog.

also, have to use 6x10 bearing in knuckle due to the stub being thicker.
it can be done and is proving to be pretty strong.

Appreciate the pic. I might have to try that once/if the MIP's fail.
