Default WK as a trail rig

I'm thinking about buying a WK thats been converted to a crawler. My question is this I would like to make into a trail rig ( Axial scx-10). I've got a Crawler King and a AX-10 as my crawlers. So whats everybodies opinion on it?

Sure it can be done. The WK axles are a bit wider than axial axles though.
I would get a X-trail or Scx-10 chassis for it. the WK trans is not ideal but it will work.

My first trail truck was WK-based, and it worked just fine (white chevy in my profile album). If you get the motor clocking plate (East End Machining makes a nice one) and run narrow offset wheels, the T/E Maxx sized bodies fit pretty well.
