Default My " bling king "

I was given a W/K as a gift from a good friend in 2007. I stretched it 12.5", added 19 t pinion stock spur and 75 turn motor. Then added the rooster crawler ESC . i painted a blazer body like my 1:1 made some fake beadlocks and grooved the mud thrashers. threw some aluminum integy parts on and had some fun with it. old pics..

played around with a trailer build for a bit..

added traxxas bumpers..

pics from my home course...

then life got busy.. had a son, started a new biz and the W/K got parked

added a roof rack and bought the new 2.2 sx off a fellow local rc board member BigBird for a spare.. had to see how the new tire looked on the BLING KING....

i like ... i like alot. I also replaced the beadlock screws witbh black heads reasoning is i like the look and they might help protect the rings from scratches

pic of roof rack ( painted to match cage and bumpers)

picked up the proline accesory kit and bolted my extinguisher and strap box on...

everything on this truck is bolted in.... this is how i did the strap box..

with the insert in cant even tell the screw is there

and added a gun to the cage...

this pic doesnt show it but the sx is taller than the ones i have ( same height as the mud thrashers) so hmmmmm.. taller, stickier, flexier and sexier, made the descion pretty easy.. back to the lhs i go...

picked up a set of chrome axial beadlocks ( what a diff from vanquish)..bling bling..yo!

spare mounted...

Very cool, great to see someone still tinkering with a King, its still one of my favorites and the truck that started it all for me. I have two Kings and have many more plans than what ive done with mine already keep up the good work.
