Default My sons Crawler King

Well my son bought his Crawler king with his own money and we have done nothing but modify it since he got it. We first put a novak speed controller and an Integy 55t with a 12/96 combo. Then I found a deal on a PAG chassis on here, so I used it and so far he loves it. Enough rambling and on with the pics.

Here a pic of my AX10 and his Crawler King before we hit the trail.

Looks good! I started out with a crawler king also. Now all that is pretty much left is the axles. Some suggestions- 1. Get some weight up front in the tires, I use lead that I got in sheets, cut it and wrapped the rims with it. 2. Either clock the motor or get a new tranny all together. I would go with a pede tranny and lock it or get an axial tranny, gotta get that motor lower. 3. From the video u posted, I think some rear bent links, if not front and rear bent links would help him out a lot. 4. If he goes lipo, get the BWD 4 link mount setup so he can mount servo and battery on the axle and go 4 link later.
Just my thoughts

Weights are already in the tires. That was a video from a few months ago sins then we have changed the shocks and springs. Put a better steering servo on it. Next on the list for winter is going Lipo.

That's cool. My setup consist of....
Gc-3a chassis
Vxl esc til my torquemaster comes in
Wk axles
Axial trans
11.1v lipo, which ironically I mount on the rear axle since I have no weight in the rear and a. lot up front
Waiting on new shocks and springs, going duratrax 3.5 all around
Hb white dot rovers
Traxxas steel yokes to male shaft to female shaft to wk shaft to axle (@ xmas), might change that up though
