Very Cool! It's amazing how it's changed from the stock version. Looks like it handles well? |

Looks good. Mine has went in many directions as well. From stock to stretched, then stuffed into a berg chassis, and now its being transformed into a Skyjacker JK Clone. Keep it up, and keep us posted for additional changes. Justin |

Mine went from stock to this! WK axles and tranny in axail chassis. This is my fun/basher. Keeps the wear and tear off my comp rig. |

I really like to see r/c rigs "evolve" over time like 1:1 rigs do. As each new flaw is found, it's dealt with. My rig went from a stock WK: To mod Wk: (I really miss having it this way... it was an awesome basher! ) And then the Gremlin body and the first set of "real" 2.2's: And then it just snowballed from there... Until now I have THIS! And there's more in the works for this one... Last edited by JavelinSST390; 01-22-2009 at 07:31 PM. |

I guess mine has evolved a long ways to. from simple mods to monster. to a halfway decent crawler to a very capable scale crawler they grow up so fast |

well after 2 years im back at it, its gone threw a few more changes but she is a nice crawler now, went back to stock tires but ive modified 2 of them to see if they could still be used and dam do they stick now, a bit of a thicker metal for the body since the last stuff was basically like using a tin can and flexed like crazy, no more WK tranny switched it out for one from an AX10, moved the links around and built a couple custom ends to attach to the axles but they still look like crap so its back to the drawing board again on those and unfortuatly no pics till tonight, there on my other comp :(

here is my wheely king as you can tell it is a work in progress building up as a scaler working on lower links to get the wheel base to fit the hpi dodge body that I have for it when it is done it will have proline hammer that came with my Axial ax10ARTR on it and not to sure on rims yet any tips, tricks or feed back would be great from the previous pic i have since changed the wheel base from almost 13 inches down to 12 inches to fit the body that will be used on it made all custom links for it and now just have to make steering links and get new drive shafts for it but as it sits now there are no electronic just a roller Last edited by 9700trevor; 04-07-2011 at 01:59 PM. |
