Default crawler king stock esc question

What type of connector comes on the stock esc in this truck? i run traxxas plugs on all my stuff..i'm assuming i'll have to get some for this esc?

It'll use the Tamiya plugs from the factory, so you'll need to convert or get the adapters to run your existing plugs.

sounds like a plan..also, can the stock esc be used with lipos? does it have a cut-of built in, or would u need to get one of those lvc alarm things, to let you know? i have a waterproof xl-5 i could use for it...but i'm holding onto it for my scaler/crawler..might look for another used one..

That I don't know, but most likely not. I want to put XL-5's in my Kings, but the monster one could possibly put up with a VXL now that I got those RC4wd trans gears.........

only HPI SC-15WP esc has a lipo cut off.Crawler king has the EN-1 as OEM.

you can run a 2s lipo in it , but you need a LVC or a new esc
