i got bored with that pretty quick and it got put on the back burner while i built my slash up from a roller. In around July i pulled the axles and transmission and bought my level 3 clocked motor mount and transmission mount
[IMG][/IMG]

i ran this on a rail type chassis with no suspension (because i was getting bored) with a 3800KV CC motor and Sidewinder ESC i blew up the stock transmission on 2s lipo on about the third run (plan to fix with mod-1 mod)
[IMG][/IMG]

i then swithed to a TVP chassis, made from 3"x .25" aluminum bar, with an upright traxxas stampede transmission (bad for low COG) truck was crappy so i made a transmission/skid plate out of some .25"x4" aluminum channel

best pics i got from before i machined it
i took out the brushless and swithed it for a 21t traxxas stinger and xl5 esc
works good
onto the current state of the truck still working on body mounts

[IMG][/IMG]

my mess of a four link need to fix it still
[IMG][/IMG]

electronics plate and battery box
[IMG][/IMG]

my first attempt at making a clearanced steering link
[IMG][/IMG]

and here is a wheelbase comparison between my WK and my slash
[IMG][/IMG]

BTW this machining of the chassis saved me close to 2.5 pounds total i forgot to weigh it before i assembled it (im impatient)

ask any questions and please give me any advice/feedback you have
