Best drive shafts for long wheelbase wheely king?

Hi, I have a 3s brushless extended wheelbase wheely king, I bought these Hot Racing driveshafts, and they just fell apart straight away. much worse than the stock ones. I had these HPI steel driveshafts when I was running short wheelbase and they were awesome, but they dont make them for the LWB king.

Can anyone recommend some good steel LWB drive shafts?

Thanks

Do they have to be steel?

Why not use the T/E-Maxx ones, they're both 6mm shaft, or the Revo ones?

X2 they are virtually indestructible and you can build them to pretty much any length.

i second the maxx/revo... cheap, easy, and strong. Unless you're running super high hp or your rig in crazy heavy, you shouldn't have any issues with them.

I agree with both...but the traxxas are a lot cheaper

Traxxas*T/E*Maxx*diff...

Traxxas*T/E*Maxx**Half...

Axial*AX10*SCX10*MIP*CVD...

+1 Maxx shafts

Those maxx shafts look good and I like the price, but it looks like they are plastic no? Im running some serious power through this bad boy, have shredded steel pinions and stock diff gears pretty easily so would like to go for something as heavy duty as possible.

Will that MIP shaft in the link above just bolt straight on?

Thanks

I reccomend the traxxas tmaxx too lol.

1. They are cheap
2. They are very durable
3. You can get them just about anywhere

Hope this helps

If you get the long HD ones, they come really long, you just cut them down to suit your requirements!

...as for durability of the plastic shafts, I'm on my third chassis, second gearbox, I've run 660 motors on 9.6v, I've bust axle shafts like twigs.......but I'm still on my first pair of Maxx shafts! "thumbsup"

the MIP AX10 drive shafts are for 5mm outputs (Axial)
MIP does make 6mm drive shafts also. (I don't have in stock)
The traxxas are 6mm same as wheely king
but the traxxas also come in 5mm TRAXXAS*Transmission*Output......great for using an Axial tranny
or axial diff gears in the WK axle housing
I run these in the 12 lb Willys you can have 6mm on one end
5mm on the other end

Hi ZoSo, do you have any of the traxxas 6mm long HD driveshafts in stock to suit my application? If so, I would love to buy them.

Cool, Just to confirm before I make the purchase, these are a good bit longer than the stock wheely king ones yeah?

Much longer! The sliding sections of each half are at least twice the length of the standard W/K ones!
