I got to tinker with my wk today, I have the steel gears installed and they are great. I replaced all the pesky flanged bolts with e-clips with stainless steel bolts and nuts lol now I just gotta wait for it to stop raining so I can run it through some mud. |

Here at my dads house I found an unused desk which I found works perfectly for a workstation. I found the lamp at goodwill for 2$ The pit as she sits now lol Hopefully sometime in the future I can get my dad to machine the scala v3 chassis out for me. I've also got my mind set in turning it into a 92 jeep cherokee foff. |

Sorry for not updating I was in the middle of moving. Now I live on a lake which is awesome. Me and my dad made some new links, and I got some new aluminum shock caps. |

Looks nice man. Keep up the good work. As for a FOFF from a Wheely King, you'll definately have to upgrade the diff gears or they'll be chewed up on the first run. HD Axial gears will work.

As far as the axial vs. Wheely king argument goes, I've had both and they both break. I have every bit as much fun running my wheely king as I do my axial. Just have fun doin what you love and replace parts when needed, lol! Truck looks great!

well the traxxas 2075 servo sucks! So I worked off a savox 0251, man there is a big difference! I found a set of old school maxx tires for 25$ on ebay. and of course it still flex's pretty well |

Have you still get the stock axles in it? If you do prepare to stock up on them, especially with those tires. You will need CVD's of some description. The wheely king was my first hobby rc and I am in the process of rebuilding it now.

actually ive had the same axles in it since last Christmas and they have not broken and ive bashed it hard! the only thing ive replaced was the ring and pinion. plus I plan on cutting the tires to some really skinny tractor tires.

since school started I've been taking a class that teaches CAD, they use AutoCAD 2014 but I have a free one on my home computer called NanoCAD 4.5. not as good but works for what I'm doing. I've started my own chassis design based off a scx10 frame. I plan on getting it cut 1/4" thick. Not bad for my first design, plus it eliminates the flexible shock mounts. Length |
