Default Nitro and electric wheely king gearbox internals the same?

Hi, I have a wicked wheely king, all stainless steel components from the motor shaft all the way to the hubs, the whole driveline.

I rebuilt the tranny with the rc4wd steel gear set, and its bulletproof. My only problem now is that I really wish I had some kind of clutch system. Im running a 3s brushless 13t.

I bought a nitro wheely king wreck, and the gearbox is still fine, and looks pretty similar to the original wheely king one, except it has a clutch. Before I get my hands dirty does anyone know if the gearbox internals are the same? IE so I can swap the RC4wd steel gears into the nitro wheely king tranny and use that?

I saw some complicated threads on how to add a clutch to the stock tranny but not to keen on doing that.

Thanks,
Michael
