Default XVD's worth the money?

I have a Wheely King based monster truck with alot of upgrades already, but the axle shafts are still a weak point. How do the RC4WD XVD's hold up? I know that RCP makes universals also but they're out of stock. Thoughts or opinions?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, they hold up well. I broke the very first set I had by exceeding the 45 degree threshold. After that I ran 2 sets for a long time on 3s 27t with no issues. I think the MIP's that RCP has actually wore out quicker.

Thanks for the info, bud! I was actually considering getting some high end upgrade axles for it, but I would need a set with 6mm input shafts and a similar width of the WK's.

No, the outers are different. The knuckles use different sized bearings and the width of the knuckles is different as well.

This thread is about xvd front axleshafts for the wheely king. There is no discussion on driveshafts.

But no, the axial uses 5mm outputs at the trans and pinion and wheely king is 6mm.
