| Wheely King diff??? HELP!!
My WK is now a Mega Truck, Running a waterproof system, 2800kv brushless, CC BEC, All steel trans, Revo shafts, Now I have gone thru 4 sets of the HPI86336 Rig and pinion sets.] I am sooo frustrated with it and am not sure what is missing here, Any advice or tips are appreciated, It tests fine but the first time it hits good mud or deep water, The diff starts clicking! I'm almost ready to replace the axles, PLZ help! |

Have you shimed the diff gears? They are cheap pot metal, you might be better off throwing spools in instead of the diffs. |

Have you looked at the rcpcrawlers diff? It's supposed to be thicker and a stronger material

| Re: Wheely King diff??? HELP!! TowerHobbies.com | HPI Racing Bevel Gear Set 38/13T Sintered Metal These are a direct bolt in. They are cheaper than most upgrades and are stronger than stock. I've been running mine with a castle 3800kv system and haven't had a problem. |

Why not just run the axial ring and pinion ? Or e savage gears .

Well I finally think I nailed it, I found the gear mesh was off and causing the stripped gears. Used every last shim I have on one side and its holding so far. I have an E Savage diff and it just seems way too big to squeeze in there without hvy mods, Anyone have any show n tell on using the savage diff? |

I've had the RCP ones in my WK for I think 4 years now, maybe 5. Very beefy.

So I am running the 86324 gears in the front axle. Hit a few mud holes and so far so good, Just like the rear all my shims r on one side for proper mesh, Any issues I will be doing the RCP ones next! Thanx everyone! |
