Default Brushless glitch

So I bought a wheely king in February and its anything but a wheely king now.

Here's what I have:

4x4 WK For Bashing and goofing off. I was going for a Monster Truck.
Still rocking a NiMh 7.2 5000 Mah battery
Turnigy Trackstar waterproof Brushless ESC
Turnigy Trackstar 4000 kv 2 pole motor Sensor-less
xt-60 connectors
Recently changed to a Lansu 3TD Radio and receiver
(2) 208 in oz tower pro metal gear digital servo's
Moved the Servo to the axle.
Adding rear servo soon.
Custom piano wire sway bars
Chassis flip
Locked rear diff
Open front

92 XJ body

I had initially stretched the chassis 11.8 inches to make it more stable. Then I added the brushless motor ,and HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, It would pack the tires on command tons of fun. Anyways I flipped the chassis around to get the front down and it did just that. So now I decided to add a 3rd channel to gain rear steer, and that's when the trouble began. It had been waiting for steering knuckles for a few weeks after I did a rear tire stand landing ( monster jam style lol ) it put metal ones on but it's a nice servo saver. So I changed the receiver, set up the esc, and set it on the ground. It took off but when I let off it kept going for another second or two, which caused it to crash into a concrete wall and break a servo horn. So I ordered a set of metal ones. Now the 3td works good with the stock motor and esc. and the stock tf-11 works ok with either setup ( aside from the bad potentiometer that doesn't always allow full right steering) I tried a glitch buster capacitor on the receiver. It acts like an old mechanical speedo when the battery would get low. Could my battery be bad already, would a bad battery pack cause this? Thanks for any input as this is my first brushless setup.

Are you running a bec? Two servos pulls a lot of power.

Well, a 4000Kv brushless system, 2 powerhungry servo's and a simple Nimh will not make the best of combinations.
Sounds like you're in need of Lipo power and a Bec.

Look in the Vendor section for HeyOk. (No, i do not get a commission) and make him hook you up with a Bec.

Oh....I did not see he was running nimh still. A lipo and a bec will for sure.

P.s. I'd like to see some pics of this rig sounds cool
