Default My crawler king in progress

So here's where I'm at so far. Try ed the level 3 drop, no go. I went back to stock with to mount. Added the high steering knuckles that are designed for the track conversion. Worked pretty good. Had to imagine er a few parts while I'm waiting on more parts to come. So far so good. Modified some integy 3 link mounts to run my 4 link setup. Had to run the top links to the outside of the frame but all seems to work just as well as it did before. Wanted to run it a bit before I finalized everthing. Running some really soft springs on the rear, which after much research, found out that was wrong but boy does it flex and crawl well this way. May not be comp worthy but it's fun on my course and anything else I want to crawl.

Default Re: My crawler king in progress

Update:
Got bored so I played with some springs today.

RR: 1.14 main spring, 1/2 of the stock spring on top.
LR:1.01 main spring, 1/4 stock spring on top.
FR:0.9 main spring, 1/4 stock spring on top.
FL: 0.9 main spring, 1/4 stock spring on top.

Almost solves all the body roll/torque twist these cralwers have. Next I want to mess around with fluid since I'm sure these stock shock have leaked out at least 5% of the original fluid, lol. Plans are to upgrade to some aluminum shocks eventually just haven't decided which ones and which lengths yet.
